    Don’t miss out on your chance to vote

    You can register online if you are eligible. The process should take less than five minutes, and you will need your National Insurance number with you.  

    If you opted to join the electoral register through Student Self Service during University registration, no action is needed.

    Unsure whether you will be in Oxford when the election takes place? You can also register at your home address, but it is illegal to vote more than once.

    Michaelmas term submission desk closure details

    Please be aware that the Submissions Desk at the Examinations School will be closed to submissions on the following dates and times in December 2019 and January 2020:

    • Tuesday 10 December from 2pm until 8.30am on Wednesday 11 December
    • Thursday 19 December from 5pm until 8.30am on Thursday 2 January

    If you plan to submit work during this holiday period, the building will be closed for submissions delivered in person, by post or by courier. Submissions made via the Examination Schools post box will not obtain proof of submission.

    AI in Education: Michaelmas term events

    The IT Learning Centre is running a series of lunch-time talks on Artificial Intelligence in Education that have been co-organised with the Centre for Teaching and Learning.

    Presentations by internal and external speakers will focus on the role AI can and will play in teaching and learning, introduce new tools and applications that can enhance your learning experience, and reflect on the positive and negative impacts of AI in education.

  • Graduate students in a lecture

    Graduate (GSO) forms are moving online

    From 14 January 2020, ten of the current Graduate (GSO) forms will be replaced with online applications, digitised approvals and workflows, making life easier for students, academics and administrative staff alike. 

    By using this user-friendly and fully secure system, graduate students will be able to complete and track the progress of applications easily and efficiently.  All applications will be stored in one place, and applications can be accessed and approved wherever you are, as long as you have web access, via eVision or Student Self Service.

    Oxford Against Sexual Violence

    The University is continuing its Oxford Against Sexual Violence campaign for a second year, highlighting that sexual harassment and violence is never acceptable.

    The campaign launched in October 2018 as a collaboration between the University and Oxford SU, to mark the launch of the Sexual Harassment and Violence Support Service.
