How to apply for 2027 entry

UCAS application

  • Start working on your application from May 2026
    • Choose your course
    • Choose a college or decide on an open application
    • Write your personal statement
    • Organise your academic reference
  • Check whether you need to take an admissions test
  • Submit your application from early September
  • Final deadline 6pm (UK time) on 15 October

Tests

  • Check whether you need to take a UAT-UK test (or UCAT for Medicine or LNAT for Law)
  • Find out test dates, how to book your test and how to prepare via UAT-UK
  • Take your UAT-UK test October

  • Check whether you need to submit written work
  • Submit with cover form sheet to your college by 10 November

Do you choose a college?

Not exactly. You can put a college's campus code on your UCAS form to specify a preference but you might still be shortlisted and offered a place by another college.
