Volunteers needed to help develop TB vaccines
There is currently no effective vaccine against TB. To address this, the Jenner institute is conducting a study using inhaled BCG (Bacille Calmette-Guérin) as a model to better understand TB infection.
If you are aged 18-50, in good health, have never received BCG and have not taken part in a trial or study where TB trial vaccines have been used, you may be eligible to participate. Participants will be reimbursed for their time and travel from £665 to £705. For more information contact the Volunteer Co-ordinator, by emailing vaccinetrials@ndm.ox.ac.uk, calling 01865 611424 or visiting the website.
