Osney Power Station
Public consultations on proposals to redevelop Osney Power Station into a world-leading centre for Executive Education were held in March and June 2018. The project team has carefully considered the feedback received, is engaged in ongoing pre-application discussions with officers at Oxford City Council, and has presented proposals to the Oxford Design Review Panel.
The building, on Arthur Street, is considered a Local Heritage Asset for its architectural interest with clear links to Oxford’s industrial past. Our aspiration is to bring this building back into active use through its conversion to an Executive Education centre for Saïd Business School. This would provide short-stay residential courses for company executives just a short walk from Oxford Station and the main business school on Park End Street. By bringing this important and historic building back into active use, we consider that we will be securing its long-term future for the benefit of the city.
The proposals can be viewed here: Osney Power Station public consultation boards - 15.06.18. Although the consultation period has now closed, please contact the project team on [email protected] if you have any queries.
