Insight Maths Talks (Online)
These events are aimed at Year 12 students, but are open to anyone who is interested in maths. This year’s programme of talks is as follows:
- Tuesday 3 December 2024 — Probability through Game Theory Pt 1
- Wednesday 4 December 2024 — What can calculus tell us about prime numbers?
- Thursday 5 December 2024 — Probability through Game Theory Pt 2
- Tuesday 10 December 2024 — Algebraic Topology
- Thursday 12 December 2024 — Cryptology
- Tuesday 14 January 2025 — Representation Theory
- Thursday 16 January 2024 — Quantum Mechanics
All talks will take place online from 4:00-5:00pm. There is no limit to the number of talks that students can attend. The sessions also will be recorded and uploaded at a later date.
