Mansfield College is partnering with Become (the charity for children in care and young care leavers) to deliver a webinar for care experienced students interested in learning more about applying to and studying at Oxford.

When? 23 October 2024, 6-7:30pm

Where? Online

Who is this for? The webinar is open to care experienced students in the UK. When we say care experienced, we mean those who have spent any amount of time in the care of the local authority care, such as through foster care, children’s homes, or a supervision order, or who have spent time in kinship care.

What does it involve? Mansfield’s Access Officer will deliver a webinar alongside staff members from Become and will be joined by current Oxford students who are care experienced. We will discuss why you might consider applying to Oxford, and give an overview of the application process, student finance, and the support you can receive from your local authority, universities, and Become. You will also get the chance to ask any questions you may have.

How do I sign up? Students can sign up using this form. Sign ups will close at noon on 16 October.
