Regent's Park College
About the college
Regent’s Park College specialises in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
Our beautiful quad offers a retreat from the bustle of the city but also puts you just minutes from everything you will need.
Regent’s is famed for its friendly atmosphere and strong sense of community. Its undergraduates often excel in the sporting and cultural life of the University as well as in academic results.
Tutors give meticulous care to the academic well-being of their students, providing them with a supportive environment as they move towards success in their final examinations.
Students are members of many college committees including the Governing Body and their views are actively sought in determining college policies.

College outreach
Regent’s is a smaller college with a diverse, unpretentious and welcoming environment, which students often find to be less intimidating than some of the larger colleges in Oxford.
Our Schools Liaison Officer, tutors and wonderful student ambassadors are keen to work with schools and colleges encouraging and supporting students considering applying to Oxford. We welcome applications from the best students with academic ability regardless of background, and encourage applications from parts of the population who are under-represented in higher education.
Our aims are to:
- Raise the academic aspirations and attainment of pupils from non-selective state schools, particularly those with the greatest levels of socio-economic or educational disadvantage who are under-represented at Russell group universities.
- Develop practical skills to assist pupils in making a competitive university application, and to inspire them to explore subjects in greater depth.
- Welcome enquiries and school visits to Regent’s Park College and other University of Oxford institutions.
We are currently building a network of schools and colleges that we can work with, to provide long-term, sustained contact and support for their students applying to the top universities.
The programme of talks and workshops we can offer includes the following topics:
- Introduction to Oxford University, colleges and student life
- Application workshops
- Critical thinking exercises
- Academic taster sessions
Talks and workshops can either be online or in-person.
If your school would like to be part of that programme, please email us at [email protected]. You can also follow us on Instagram.
