The three Oxford for North East Colleges often offer free overnight accommodation for state school students travelling from the North East of England. Oxford for North East also run a free residential for state school students from the North East of England who have not yet had the opportunity to visit Oxford that coincides with the University's Summer Open Days. More information about this can be found below.
Students from the North East of England are currently under-represented at Oxford. To help make a change, we are Oxford for North East, an extensive community outreach programme offering bespoke and local support to students from 10-19+ years, their parents and their teachers.
We want to make Oxford University an achievable goal for anyone from the region with the academic talent and ambition to make this a reality.
