Oxford's Regional Outreach

Oxford for UK

As part of our commitment to widening access, Oxford's colleges are developing their regional outreach. While continuing to offer support to schools and colleges within their linked local authority areas (see below), they will be prioritising helping the local communities currently under-represented in higher education. By forming Oxford for UK regions and working together, these groups of our colleges hope to help more local students from backgrounds which are currently under-represented to make successful applications to Oxford.

Evidence-based and tailored to the character and requirements of particular regions, Oxford for UK also helps the University to ensure that regional priorities are considered in the design and delivery of national outreach programmes.

Each Oxford for UK region has a website showing the resources available to local students, their families and teachers. It gives details of the outreach activities Oxford colleges run in your region and in Oxford.
