Graduate access
The University and colleges are doing more than ever to increase the number of promising postgraduate students from under-represented groups at Oxford.
In addition to UNIQ+, Academic Futures, Close the Gap and the scholarships described above, we have launched other pioneering initiatives to improve access to graduate study, including:
- initiatives to better contextualise the admissions procedure for graduate applicants; and
- application fee waivers for UK Applicants from low-income backgrounds who meet the eligibility criteria.
The University is also taking positive action under the Equality Act 2010 to tackle the underrepresentation of UK students from Black, Bangladeshi and Pakistani backgrounds at Oxford and to encourage more students from these groups to apply for graduate study.
