Summer Art Challenge

July and August

Use your creative side to see the Pitt Rivers Museum in new ways during July and August. Collect your mystery Art Challenge from the 'Inspiration Station' on the first floor to take part. You can use the museum's drawing materials or take your own, with volunteers on hand to help. The Summer Art Challenge takes place on selected afternoons through to the end of August and is a free, drop-in activity led by museum volunteers. Suitable for any age - everyone welcome.

Money Talks: Art, Society & Power

9 Aug 2024 to 5 Jan 2025

A major exhibition opening at the Ashmolean Museum will explore the place of money in our world through different artistic lenses. Money Talks will reveal how currency and art come together in design and culture and will feature over 100 objects, including work from artists such as Da Vinci and Rembrandt to Warhol and Banksy. Alongside will be a range of money as well as artwork for currency featuring Kings Edward VIII and Charles III, on display for the first time.

Undergraduate Open Day

This is your chance to talk to tutors and students, have a look round and make up your own mind about Oxford.
